“Autochthonous varieties (Alvarinho and Arinto) give the wine its distinctive character. Fruity peach flavors with a well integrated acidity and minerality, which is marked by the red slate soils of the Herdade dos Lagos make this elegant white wine a pleasure. Aging potential of 3 years.

Wine making:
Strict yield control through rigorous pruning and thinning. Hand harvesting (about 3 weeks before the red wine grapes) in the cool morning hours. Instant whole bunch pressing to obtain a wine with vivid color, good acidity and freshness. Afterwards natural primary treatment by cold sedimentation. Slow fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. 5 months fine yeast contact, gentle treatment during vinification and natural cold stabilization before bottling.
